Kiva Dickinson

As Managing Partner Kiva leads all deal sourcing and execution efforts for Selva Ventures, and works closely with portfolio brands.

Prior to founding Selva Ventures Kiva was a Partner at CircleUp, where he joined during the launch of the Company’s first discretionary equity fund CircleUp Growth Partners. While at CircleUp Kiva led Series B investments in Nutpods and Liquid I.V., working closely with both companies following investment.

Prior to CircleUp, Kiva was private equity investor in San Francisco at TPG Capital. There, he focused on a combination of consumer and digital media companies. Kiva was involved in TPG’s Series B investments in Lynda.com (subsequently acquired by LinkedIn) and Ipsy. Prior to TPG, Kiva began his career in Los Angeles at Barclays in consumer-focused investment banking.

John Bitove

As Chairman of Selva Ventures, John leads the firm’s strategy and governance and engages with portfolio brands to create unique partnership opportunities through his background in media and professional sports.

In 1993, John founded the Toronto Raptors basketball team, leading the NBA franchise-bid process, launching the team and creating the Air Canada Centre (now Scotiabank Arena), Toronto's major sports and entertainment venue. Years later, he led Toronto’s bid for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games as President and CEO.

John has since led a number of consumer-facing entrepreneurial ventures, founding Canadian Satellite Radio Inc. in partnership with U.S.-based XM Satellite Radio; founding Mobilicity, one of Canada’s new entrant wireless operators (sold to Rogers for $465 million); and most recently developing the Canadian market for Bird e-scooters. John is Founder and CEO of Obelysk, a holding company which invests in a variety of sectors; and Founding Partner of PointNorth Capital, a joint venture investment firm with OMERS (one of Canada’s largest pension funds).

Kerry Vickar

As a Board Member, Kerry brings a unique financial skillset to portfolio brands along with a strong network from his time as an operator in the CPG industry.

Kerry has deep experience in the consumer packaged goods space, investing early in ONE Brands and BestCo and joining the Board of each as Chairman. Kerry helped to grow ONE Brands from under $5 million in sales to over $130 million during his time as Chairman, culminating in Hershey's announcement to acquire the Company for $397 million in August 2019.

Prior to his work in consumer products, Kerry founded CorrFlex Graphics in 1998, which became the preeminent provider of temporary point of purchase display products in North America before being acquired by Sonoco Products Company in 2004. Kerry is co-founder of The VSTH Group, an investment banking and private equity firm; is founder of the family office, The Vickar Group; and is founder and Chairman of National Equipment Dealers, a heavy construction equipment company.

David Littman

As a Board Member, David brings a deep expertise in supply chain and contract manufacturing along with strategic relationships in the hospitality space.

David has been a entrepreneur since starting his first lighting company at the age of 23. Today he owns and operates the Hudson Valley Lighting Group, which he founded in 1995 and has grown to be one of the largest premium decorative lighting companies in the country.

The Hudson Valley Lighting Group is comprised of four decorative lighting companies: Hudson Valley Lighting, Troy Lighting, Corbett Lighting and Mitzi by HVL. Each brand has a distinctive look and rich history of its own, and are united by a few common principles: the pursuit of excellence, a design-driven culture, attention to ever-changing environmental considerations, and commitment to the highest possible quality.
